Conceived to be South Africa’s definitive automotive awards programme, #CarsAwards has steadily grown in stature, reach and influence since the inaugural event in 2016. Apart from being supported by WesBank, South Africa’s largest vehicle finance provider, #CarsAwards is regarded as an energetic, impactful opening number to the automotive industry calendar.

Launch Invite
Sent out to the trade.

The launch invite for Cars.co.za’s #CarsAwards featured all the contenders in each category. This launch mail also served as the invite to the trade and featured the Stars of the Show.

Using our client’s owned media channels for organic growth

A campaign of vehicle posts were created using the Cars.co.za Awards Corporate Identity. These posts were pushed out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They helped to educate users on the contenders in each category by giving a short extract of information from one of the judges.

A competition was created offering awesome prizes that were used as an incentive to encourage users to complete the vehicle ownership survey. Today, this innovative survey that we helped create is one of the most important vehicle ownership surveys on South Africa
